April 1st, I started following an old friend from high school on twitter and fell on a very interesting re-tweet. Her friend Ioan, a familiar face from my school. He released a mixtape, first of all, i didn’t even know he made music or rapped. I’m always looking for new artists and music to listen to, so i gave it a try. By the end of the album, i couldn’t understand what had just happened to me. And here I am, April 4th, still playing these songs. I need this fix and I feel like you guys should hop on this drug with me !

Dick Clark’s Rockin New Year’s Eve sets expectations that we can never reach. If I were in charge of ABC I would broadcast live from my cousin Timmy’s basement where we ate spinach dip, sipped on Boone’s Farm Wine and played Yahtzee.
Hahaha ENJOY the new year

Common - “The Dreamer (feat. Maya Angelou)”
This and this are why you shouldn’t make Best Of lists until the year is actually close to being over. In a year where everyone was talking about the new kids of hip hop like The Weeknd and Drake, the older generation answers back with Maya fucking Angelou. Sure, it’s less buzzy than Jamie xx, but my god. Amazing.
Ooooooohhh

Wonder what it would be in a year?
